ILIC 2007 - Accommodation

The Congress Secretariat (AOPC) is in charge of hotel accommodation and will operate on a first- come first-served basis with the incoming requests. Due to heavy demand and to the fact that distribution of rooms is limited in many hotels, accommodation cannot be guaranteed after April 11^th 2007, although AOPC will make every effort to meet participants' requirements. AOPC reserves the right to book another hotel if the hotel desired is fully booked.

ON-LINE HOTEL REQUEST

On-line hotel request is possible through this web site. Click on-line hotel and follow the instructions. On-line payment is only possible by credit card (Visa, Eurocard or MasterCard). This service will let you send your request and pay through the Internet with an officially secured system SSL and receive your receipt on-line. Once the request has been submitted a hotel voucher, stating the name and address of the hotel assigned, will be sent by regular post. Participants must bring this voucher to the hotel reception as proof of their reservation.

HOTEL REQUEST

Hotel reservation form is available on this web site in Word format ready to be printed: Download form. Please send it by fax or post together with the corresponding payment to the Secretariat before April 11^th 2007. Hotel forms received without the complete contact address or without payment will not be accepted. The total amount should be paid in Euros by credit card (American Express, Visa, Eurocard or MasterCard) or by bank cheque in Euros payable through a Spanish bank and made out to AOPC-ILIC 2007. Personal and company cheques are not accepted. Purchase orders are not be accepted as payment. A hotel voucher, stating the name and address of the hotel assigned, will be sent by regular post. Participants must bring this voucher to the hotel reception as proof of their reservation.

HOTEL DEPOSIT

In order to book a hotel room, a payment of a deposit of 200 EURO for each room reserved is required plus 15 EURO as bank and administration fee also per room. Upon receipt of the form and payment a hotel voucher, stating the name and address of the hotel assigned, will be sent by regular post. Regarding accommodation, please note that the total cost (total nights plus extras) will be invoiced to you by the hotel at check-out. The deposit paid in advance will be deducted from this hotel bill and the balance due will be paid directly at the hotel reception when leaving the hotel. The hotel voucher sent to you as confirmation of your reservation will be your receipt for the deposit paid in advance.

HOTEL LIST

Hotel accommodation in various price categories and with special rates has been reserved in Barcelona. The number of rooms available in the official hotels is limited and therefore AOPC reserves the right to confirm a non-official hotel if the official hotels are fully booked. In this case, the special rates will not be applied. All rates are per room and night and include buffet breakfast. VAT (7% in 2006) is not included in rates.

Any change or cancellation of a reservation should be made in writing to AOPC and not directly to the hotel. Refund in case of cancellation will be as follows: Before 2 May 2007, the hotel deposit will be refunded in full, except the bank and administration fee of 15 EURO. After this date no refund will be made. Refunds will always be made after the Congress. In case of no-show, your room will be cancelled automatically and as per the cancellation conditions no refund will be made. In case you decide to change your hotel reservation after 2 May 2007 or during the congress, the hotel reserves the right to charge you all nights initially booked.

Younger visitors and those looking for alternative forms of accommodation will find youth hostels, halls of residence, some of themall year round. In short, accommodation for all tastes and at prices to suit every pocket.
